When I thought of the name for this post, I instantly became more excited for it.
A few weeks ago, my mother and I went shopping at Kohl’s because my brother needed some new khakis for his orchestra concert that week and I needed some new gloves. But, of course, we walked out of the store with more than that haha. They had multiple sweaters for sale, and because I only had one or two, and I like to try to stay as warm as possible, I decided to try a few on. I ended up getting three, so I thought I’d show you guys how I decided to wear them.
Sweater #1 | Pink & Sparkly
Jeans: American Eagle | Mary-Jane’s: Old Navy | Headband: Walgreen’s | Bralette: Aerie
I’m usually not a big fan of glitter/sparkles all throughout a piece of clothing, but the sparkly thread in this sweater is really faint, and I think it would look too plain without it. I still had to wear my coat all day in school, but it’s really soft. I don’t understand how the building is so cold, or how people wear anything but their coats. There’s a girl in my forensics class who wears cropped shirts everyday, and I’m jealous because she must not get cold. Haha anyways, I really like this outfit, especially with the contrast of my black jeans and shoes.
Sweater #2 | Black w/ White
Jeans: American Eagle | Hat: Owl Crate | Shoes: Dr. Scholl’s
Looking at this picture, I find it really funny that even though my sweater and pants are both the same color, they’re different shades. . . . I swear this sweater is the softest thing ever! But, a little fact: I actually used to hate this type of yarn when I was little. I thought it was so ugly! haha I sized up with all three of these sweaters, and this one especially is really comfortable with it being too big (if you can tell, I had to roll up the sleeves).
I never thought I’d be one to wear all black except for spirit day at school lol, but I looove this outfit. Especially the all black with my pink shoes. I didn’t wear my new Harry Potter “Expecto Patronum” beanie to school, but I’m kinda obsessed with it now, and had to put it on for the picture.
Sweater #3 | Rainbow Striped
Jeans: American Eagle | Shoes: Converse
If I had to choose a favorite out of the three, this one might be it. I feel like it fits my personality (my cheesy smile lol) the best. I think my style, and my personality, are more eclectic, like these stripes, than girly or edgy, like the other two. This sweater probably keeps me the warmest, as well; and it has really cool lace-up details in front of the shoulders, but they’re covered by my hair. I get a lot of compliments on it too, which is always a plus;)
Which look was your favorite? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading; have an awesome day!
